About Mount Kilimanjaro & Lemosho Route
Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the world’s most iconic trekking destinations and the tallest mountain in Africa. Rising above the plains of northern Tanzania, it offers a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that doesn’t require technical climbing skills — just determination, fitness, and the right support team.
The Lemosho Route is considered the most scenic and well-balanced trail on Kilimanjaro. Starting from the lush rainforest in the west, it traverses the beautiful Shira Plateau, joins the Machame Route, and approaches the summit via Barafu Camp. Its gradual ascent allows for better acclimatization, making it one of the top choices for climbers seeking both success and stunning views.
