OVERVIEW:
Murchison Falls National Park “The World’s Most Powerful Waterfall” is the largest park and the oldest conservation area hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds. It is one of the most spectacular in Africa. The park lies at the Northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley. The park is gifted by a number of wildlife animals which include elephants, Uganda Kobs, Chimpanzees in Bundogo forest, buffaloes, oribs, antelopes, giraffes and many more.
HIGHLIGHTS
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
DAY 2: Game Drive – Hike to the top of the falls
Day 3: Departure
Our professional tour guide/driver will pick you up from Kampala/Entebbe and drive you to Murchison Falls National Park. This journey will take 5-7 hours. You will have your enroute lunch (optional). After the enroute lunch proceed to the park. On arrival check in at your lodge for overnight and dinner.
Highlight of the day: Beautiful scenic views
After an early morning breakfast your tour driver will pick you up from the lodge to start your Game Drive.
During the game drive, you will be in position to have a glimpse of a number of wildlife such as elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, water bucks, birdlife among others.
After the gamedrive, head back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. Later, you will hike the top of the falls. While at the top, you will be exposed to Mother Nature’s wondrous Gorge known as the “Devil’s Cauldron.” Take photos because it is the best time for photography. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast, your tour driver/guide will pick you up from your lodge and transfer you back to Kampala/Entebbe
