1 Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Day Sketch

You will wake up early morning and enjoy your buffer breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, and checkout of the hotel while the driver will be waiting to drive you heading to the western province, where you will pass the Ethnographic museum at Huye (Butare) in southern province. This will give you a great history of traditional ways of living among Rwandans and their past way of leadership of king.

The arrival at The Park (Nyungwe National Park) will be in the afternoon, and proceed for Canopy walkway from the Uwinka reception center and offer a chance to marvel at the views from 230 feet above the rainforest floor. You will be able to feel the sounds of same species of primates and more than 250 types of birds.

J Sleep this night hoping to meet the noisemakers in the following day, while experiencing the rainforest from a dazzling new perspective on the famous Canopy Walkway.

2 Hiking source of the Nile

Day Sketch

A good morning! Waking up feeling fresh and have your breakfast, you will meet your guide and drive off for the source of the Nile trail hike, to check more on the point where the source of the Nile is believed to start from. Here, you will enjoy the guided nature walk along the trail to know more about flora and fauna of the park.

The nature walk will take around three to four good hours. After the hike, you will return for lunch and spend the afternoon with a tea tour experience; this will help

you to learn more about the farming and processing at Gisakura tea gardens, and later transferred at your booked accommodation for Dinner and overnight stay.

3 Isumo waterfalls & Departure.

Day sketch

A very good morning again, waking up later in the morning after spending a well resting night and have your breakfast. You will later head for Isumo waterfalls hike. The best waterfalls trails, this hiking trail is a 10.6 km amongst tea plantations and lush green vegetation. On your way, you will encounter the exotic primates (Black, white & Chlorocebus pygerythrus) monkey, and the opportunity for spotting and an array of bird species like Rwenzori turaco.

The hike will take 3 to 4 hours and this timing depends on your walking physicality. As you finish the hike, you will return to Gisakura visitor center for lunch and getting ready to depart back to Kigali. You will reach Kigali in the evening, and drop off at your hotel. End of the service!
